Easy Swiss Meringue Buttercream Ube Purple Yam Recipe for 6 Inch Cake In this video I made Swiss Meringue Buttercream for the first time. I made it with ube or purple yam flavour to use for my 6 inch ube chiffon cake (see link down below for the video) but of course, you can flavour it however you want. Swiss meringue buttercream is basically adding softened butter to meringue (which has been cooked first until it reaches 63 deg C) and whisking them together.
