240SX Steering Rack Rebuild! Fixing the Leak on Our S14 Project

In this episode of our 1997 Nissan 240SX (S14) restoration project, we tackle an important job before the engine goes back in next episode rebuilding the leaking steering rack. Since access is much easier with the engine out, now is the perfect time to tear down the rack and install a brand new seal kit to stop the leaks and restore proper steering performance. While we’re in there, we also upgrade the steering components by installing new inner tie rods and tie rod ends to make sure the entire steering system is fresh and ready for the road.
