This is the self-titled track. Why "Añejo"?  Two reasons. Quite literally, it's the name of a fun restaurant we would frequent for spicy margaritas and dirty dancing after many long recording sessions in the valley.  But more importantly Añejo, the word itself: primarily assigned to describe tequila, Añejo simply translates from Spanish to English to mean "aged." That made me feel cozy. Good things take a lot of thought, time, work, and emotional effort. This song is about friendships and nourishing positive relationships in life. I got to see my little seeds of ideas come to life thanks to my best friends ... and when we were ready to put the finishing touches on the record, I had one last idea to sorta sum up this whole chapter in my life.
