For the first time I visit the huge gold mine - Zharkulak, in the Bayankol gorge. I thought it was a boring activity (walking through the tunnel)... How wrong I was! Inside the mountain, you feel like a hero from the Lord of the Rings - huge mines, dark bottomless crevices, ice. A mystical place with its own history. Gold reserves in local ores amount to about 10 tons! But why was everything abandoned there? Perhaps the mine has exhausted itself, the mountain looks like cheese - full of holes. The workers left all the equipment, just left everything as it was and left. This place is unique in one more thing - the view of the mountains! Here opens the harsh world of the highest mountains of the Central Tien Shan and the highest peak in Kazakhstan - Khan Tengri (7,010 m.n.m.). During the day spent there, I never got enough of this beauty! I'd like to take another look at this! But the weather dictates its own conditions and it was necessary to descend, leave this gorge - a strong thunderstorm with hail was coming. We decided to go to the Tekes Waterfall. Moreover, none of us have been there except Denis. The waterfall itself is unusual and very different from all that I have seen!
