Nearly 1,000 people visited the international packaging and paper group's 380 sqm booth at FachPack in September, making it one of the most popular sites at the trade fair. For the first time, Mondi showcased its full range of products from all business segments at the fair, including our expanded consumer and corrugated packaging portfolio. "Around the Mondi world in three days" was the theme and a striking hot air balloon hung from the ceiling as the centrepiece. Around 100 Mondi employees serviced the booth during the three day fair in Nuremberg, Germany. The highlights among the Mondi product portfolio at the trade show included: ProVantage Kraftliner Aqua: new solution for packaging applications in very humid environments. Stac-Pac®: an innovative, weather-resistant dispatch and storage container made from punched, heavy corrugated cardboard. Miprotex: a tailor-made and cost efficient paper based solution that prevents the migration of mineral oil. SmartID Bag: smart industrial bag equipped with its own serialised data matrix code for identification purposes. Perfoampack: a physically foamed film which can be used for a broad range of applications and winner of the WorldStar Packaging Award 2013 for its innovative technology. FIBROMER®: new sustainable alternative to other composites in many sectors, including automotives and furniture. Mondi also choose FachPack as the platform to launch a new marketing line called IN TOUCH EVERY DAY.
