Storz and Bickel Crafty Best vaporizer in the world until it failed. The vaporizer was working fine until after one random session it stopped. Next time I tried to power it on I got yellow and red lights blinking, and the vaporizer no longer worked. I am within my warranty but was refused a warranty replacement by S&B citing wear and tear... They wanted to send me a new unit if I paid 200USD and relinquished my broken device to them....while I'm still within warranty. I decided to take matters into my own hands, and found out a few surprising facts. First, the cause of the failure was the result of a $2 part, a thermal fuse. Second the wire leading to the thermal fuse was getting excessively hot. Third the fuse is slightly underrated. It's rated at 184c sustained, but we are sustaining temps 200+c when vaping. The fact that the wire was hitting over 150c was also worrying. This to me shows that the product was engineered to fail, and coupled with Storz and Bickel horrible approach to the warranty I'm supposed to have over a 2 dollar part makes me see this as nothing but a cash grab scam. It's too bad that I loved the volcano and S&B support for it so much, cuz I will never buy a S&B product again (yes the next review is S&B but it was purchased before my crafty failed) whatever you do to your vape, you do at your own risk.
