As well as getting young people excited about brass banding, this initiative helps bands forge and strengthen relationships with organisations around them. For those bands that want to go beyond just a performance, this initiative is an ideal opportunity to offer a taster session so school children can learn about the opportunities available in their local brass bands. It’s a brilliant way to engage local schools with music and brass bands, and I hope this set of arrangements will be enjoyable to perform and share with your community all year round.
