Panelists: Brian Griffiths - of Bad Juju (Over Under, Tam Tam, Fratesi's) Brian Griffiths is the principal of Bad Juju, a Miami-based hospitality and creative studio. He is a partner at Over Under, Tam Tam, and the upcoming Fratesi's, as well as several more developing and non-local restaurants and bars. Christina Crespi - CEO of Miami Downtown Development Authority Christina Crespi serves as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Executive Director for the Miami Downtown Development Authority (Miami DDA), a quasi-governmental agency of the City of Miami dedicated to growing, strengthening, and promoting the economic health and vitality of downtown Miami. In her leadership role, Christina oversees the agency’s long-term strategic plan, focusing on business development, urban planning, marketing and communications, promoting arts and culture, and enhancing quality of life for Downtown Miami’s 162,000 residents, 250,000 daytime workers and seven million annual visitors. Her passion for downtown Miami has manifested in her visionary approach to elevating the Miami DDA’s district, which includes the Central Business District, Brickell and Arts & Entertainment. District. From creating “United at Home”, a David Guetta concert during the pandemic that raised $1.2 million for Feeding South Florida, to launching a business incentive program that has attracted dozens of companies and created thousands of high-wage jobs in the urban core, Christina is focused on turning Downtown Miami into a 24/7 thriving community. Her dedication has earned her numerous accolades, including being named a Chapman Partnership “Take a Walk in Her Shoes” Honoree and receiving the 2023 Alumni Award from the Education Fund. She also served as past chair of the Chair for the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer campaign. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in social work and social policy and administration from Florida State University. Coloma Kaboomsky - of LinkMiamiRebels, Club Space, Factory Town, Jolene, and III Points Coloma Kaboomsky is a prominent figure in Miami's nightlife and electronic dance music (EDM) scene. He is known for his role in revitalizing Club Space, a legendary nightclub in downtown Miami, alongside partners David Sinopoli and Davide Danese. Together, they transformed the club's layout, decor, and booking strategy, enhancing its reputation as a premier venue for dance music events. Lolo Reskin - Founder of Sweat Records Miami native Lolo Reskin has been a driving force in revitalizing South Florida’s music scene and vinyl culture since the late '90s. A longtime club DJ and concert promoter, she opened independent record shop and all ages event space Sweat Records in 2005, creating a hub for artists and music lovers alike. In the 20 years since, Sweat has become a Miami institution, hosting more than 1,000 local events and earning fans and recognition around the globe. Lolo also served for a decade on the Florida Chapter Board of The Recording Academy, is an alum of Miami Fellows and Radical Partners, and curates the world-class vinyl selection at Sweat.
