This video was created to help students with varying communication and developmental disabilities learn all about the car wash. Many individuals love going to the car wash and it can be a good opportunity to learn money skills, sequencing and make it a sensory experience. The video goes through the steps in going through the car wash and also highlights the different type of equipment with describing words such as "wet", "loud", "clean", etc. Watch this video and then go out in the community to practice the steps. Have your students describe each of their steps and have them recall their own experiences at the car wash. For a real life vocational opportunity, raise money and start your own class hand car wash at your school! To use this video optimally, stop and pause the video.
