In this clip, Sadhguru talks about how the geometry of our form “invites certain things” and that human beings must strive to focus on their form over all else. “We made an intricate science,” he says, “of how to sit, how to breathe, how to use your mind… If you get this right, perception will burst forth.” After all, he says, human life is enhanced only by expanding our perception, and the rest is “all imagination”. While imagination is celebrated, especially in literature circles such as the one who provided him with a stage, he believed that “imagination is only the recycling of our memories”. The seed of the human genius, says Sadhguru, lies in extending the boundaries of our perception. “The fundamental human genius is not in writing poetry or painting,” he says, but in the mystery in the ability of the human organism to transform anything it consumes into itself. Intelligence transforms and integrates everything into the human being. “This mechanism is the most sophisticated in the world,” he says, imploring the audience to look closely. The objective of the system of yoga, he says, is to bring yourself to such a level of ease that you notice “an intelligence beyond intellect constantly at work.” All human striving should be to access this, he says, and move from logic into the magic of life.
