Shocking Escape: Prisoners Flee Chodavaram Sub-Jail After Attacking Warden with Hammer

In a dramatic incident at Chodavaram Sub-Jail, Anakapalli district, two prisoners escaped after attacking the jail warden with a hammer. The warden, Veerraju, sustained serious head injuries and is currently undergoing treatment in hospital. According to officials, the prisoners were taken out to cook when one suddenly attacked the warden, snatched the gate keys, and fled. Taking advantage of the chaos, another inmate also escaped. Despite staff presence, the attack happened so quickly that there was no time to stop them. The escaped prisoners have been identified as Nakka Ravikumar, accused in a pension scam case, and Bezawada Ramu, a remand prisoner in a theft case.
