This breathtaking place is less than 2 hours away by car from Chengdu and around there you can find other great attractions. Located close to the Leshan Giant Buddha is Mount Emei. To explore this 3,099 meters tall Mountain, you will need the whole day. It is one of the four most divine Buddhism Mountains in China. There are several Buddhist temples but do not miss Golden Summit with majestic views on top of the mountain. The temple is also very popular among Buddhists and pilgrims in China. In the vicinity of the temple, there is a 48-meter-high golden Buddha statue, which has a unique head with faces turned in ten directions. But don't forget to dress well on the trip.
