It helps move water from the Yedula reservoir to the Vattem reservoir to support irrigation in the region. MEIL Group is building twin tunnels and surge galleries to carry large amounts of water safely and efficiently. The pump house will have ten powerful pumps, each with a capacity of 145 MW, to lift water to higher areas. A surge pool and strong delivery pipelines are also part of the setup, ensuring smooth water flow across long distances.
