Nissan Partol Y61 TD42 with 310,000ks Lacking power For any inquiries please call (02) 9907 6662 So all the work that was carried out on this vehicle was. -Test turbo and make sure it was boosting properly (we were getting around 8-9psi) -Adjust the tappets (.35mm when hot). -Replaced rocker cover gasket. -Replaced all 6 injectors. -Did a full air and fuel system Inlet manifold was not very dirty. BUT as you can see there was a lot of smoke coming out so indicates there would have been Carbon build up throughout the cylinder head and valves and pistons and will restore Compression. Also running Chemical though the injection pump saved overhauling pump. We would generally want to remove all inlet manifold for manual clean but with a bore scope we could see that the inlet manifold was not that bad. -Replaced the air and fuel filters. -Replaced the oil and oil filters. once all this was done the Patrol was like a rocket. So if your Patrol's a little bit sluggish then doing the above would be a good start. Just keep in mind this is a turbo diesel.
