Hey, y'all. 3 years ago today, I posted my first cover on YouTube - Pumped Up Kicks by Foster the People, and what I originally thought was a fun summer project turned into something way bigger than I ever imagined. Thank you all for joining me on this journey. This project has not only opened doors, but has also opened my mind to think differently, be different, to do music on my own terms, and to really embrace myself and my own voice. I can't wait to see what the future has in store. For this cover, I had the privilege of collaborating with Keenan Boswell. Turns out both Keenan and I ended up at the University of Texas for more school. We got connected through a friend of mine from the University of Puget Sound and here we are! This cover is different from anything else that I've done and is also my first major collaboration. We chatted a bit, tried out a few things, and recorded the final recording together in a single take. I don't have a ton of fancy cameras so we did our best to scrap something together for you all.
