The agriculture program at UNIGE trains experts capable of addressing challenges related to food production while respecting environmental concerns. Thanks to its multidisciplinary approach, UNIGE prepares its graduates to play a key role in transforming the agricultural sector by integrating sustainable solutions for a greener future. Project Overview As part of this project, we developed custom LED fixtures designed to efficiently replace traditional 36W and 58W fluorescent tubes. These fixtures are integrated with an automated system that allows precise power management and daily scheduling through a built-in timer, ensuring optimal lighting control tailored to specific user needs. Our concept reduces energy consumption by 58% compared to fluorescent tubes, while offering a modular installation that allows for the addition of optional bars.
