Family - Community College Initiative Program: Digital Story

At Houston Community College, Adriana helps connect CCI participants with internship opportunities in their host community, but she knows the participants' success in their internships comes from their personal desire to grow, achieve, and belong. The 2017-2018 digital storytelling project for the CCI Program was an opportunity to hear and share stories of the program’s impact in CCI U.S. host communities. The CCI Program invited U.S. community members to volunteer to share their stories of how the CCI Program has made an impact in their lives and community. These stories were created by the volunteers in a workshop facilitated by StoryCenter, https://www.storycenter.org/ Adriana Gonzalez is a social host and workshop facilitator for the CCI Program at HCC.
