In this step-by-step tutorial, we'll show you the secrets to achieving that crispy crust and soft interior. No more store-bought simit—make your own delicious sesame bagels today! Let's bake together 💪 ▶️ Difficulty Level: ★★★ 3/5 ▶️ Serving Size: 6~8 Servings ▶️Ingredients: Ingredients for the dough: 1/2 cups of lukewarm milk 1/2 cups of lukewarm water 1 egg 2 tbsp of sugar 6 grams of active yeast 1/2 tsp of salt 1 tsp of vanilla 1/4 cups of vegetable oil 350 grams of bread flour Ingredients for the glaze / topper: ¼ cup of water 2 tbsp of molasses Sesame seeds ▶️Equipment: Silicone Spatula Whisker Suitable bowls Parchment Paper ▶️ Instruction: First, Add the dough ingredients in order according to the list and mix. whisk for a while Put flour in a bowl then add the liquid mixture Mix well and add some flour if needed Knead up to 3 minutes Let it rest for 40 minutes Cut it into 8 equal parts Make a glaze with ¼ cup of water + 2 tbsp of molasses Cut each piece in half again Shape each part of the dough like I did Repeat these steps for all pieces Dip in the glaze you made Cover it all with sesame seeds Let it rest for 20 minutes before bake Bake for 25 minutes at 200 °C or 390°F That’s all, enjoy your freshly baked! ▶️ Tips & Tricks: Preheat the oven for 15 minutes before baking Don't forget to use parchment paper if needed Pay attention to the times mentioned for resting the dough in the instructions ♥️ Made with LOVE by Nandakchi ♥️ Unleash your inner baker and enjoy it!
