The Flex Seal Family of Flood Protection products is a new innovation in flood protection designed to help create a flood barrier around your home or business, with no heavy lifting of sandbags required. These UL-verified*, patent-pending new products are specifically designed to help slow down or even stop floodwaters from entering your home or business and can be removed once the waters recede. However, there’s some important information that you need to know. Every structure is different. Depending on the age and type of construction, there may be areas that can’t be seen or sealed. So, it’s impossible to stop all floods from entering every time, but our Flood Protection products can help. Even when you use our flood protection products, you still must ALWAYS FOLLOW YOUR STATE AND LOCAL WEATHER ADVISORIES AND EVACUATION ORDERS. Also, if you’re sealing your entire structure, including your primary entry/exit, all persons, pets, and essential belongings must be removed from the premises. Once your final entry point is sealed, you will not be able to re-enter without breaking the Flood Protection seal. Dry Time depends on temperature, humidity, and thickness of coating. Allow 24-48 hours for Flood Protection products to cure before floodwaters arrive. Not intended to protect against flash floods, or to protect against floating and flying debris. Not intended to withstand extreme winds, water pressure, or if there is structural damage to the building. Apply to the exterior of the structure. Unsealed porous surfaces may seep water during extended underwater exposure. It’s important to read all product labels and safety warnings. *The Flex Seal Family of Flood Protection Products has been evaluated by UL Solutions and meets applicable verification requirements for stopping water intrusion for the specified gap widths and water depths as described below.
