Her first documentary The Hand Behind the Mouse: the Ub Iwerks story, (1999) is dedicated to her grandfather, Ub Iwerks, co-creator of Mickey Mouse. In 2006 she directed Recycled Life, nominated for an Academy Award, in 2007 The Pixar Story, nominated at the Emmy, and in 2010 directed Magic: Creating the Impossible.
