After a short with PIA airlines (rated as OK from me) we walked out to hundreds of people in ISB. I was expecting to be hassled about wanting a taxi or something along those lines. But much to my surprise, not a single person approached me (props to you Pakistan). I finally found my careem driver and we made our way out of the airport and I was amazed to see the lush greenery and mountains surrounding the city. It really is a warm welcome. I checked into my Air Bnb, which will be the new crib for a couple of days and it was so worth it! Everything is better than the previous place I was staying at and it was significantly cheaper, just $30AUD per night. After I settled in, I went for a walk to the local supermarket and got a lime soda, a new nose ring and the kind gentleman bought me a cheese paratha. Overall, Islamabad is an amazing city. There is so much greenery and everything works smoothly unlike my experiences in Karachi. Also, the WEATHER! It is the perfect temperature all day and you can't forget the blue skies!
