How to Fix Leggy Cosmos Seedlings | Tips to Get More Flowers | Perennial Garden

If you don't want leggy cosmos, then don’t sow them too early and make sure they get plenty of light to avoid leggy growth. But if your cosmos seedlings have already become leggy (like mine did), don't worry! In this quick video, I'll show you how to prick them out and pot them on into slightly larger containers, planting the long, leggy seedlings a little deeper than they were. And, if you haven’t already pinched out the tops, now's the time to do that for bushier growth and more flowers. Be sure you don't throw those tops away, plant them right next to your seedlings for even more plants.
