The new Stinson 108 Scooter owns was acquired and one of the reasons was to get in and out of shorter fields. This has lead to #ProjectSTOL The Stinson 108-2 is no slouch as a stock aircraft with Stinson advertising a 620ft takeoff at max gross weight and 290 ft landing roll. Scooter wants more so the plan is to see how short of a STOL score he can get in Blue Suede Shoes. This video is starting out with stalls. The first step in developing a STOL technique for an aircraft. If you want to get better at landing the first place to start is in the air with learning how to best fly the airplane you want to land at different speeds and configurations. You can then take what you learn and apply it to landing. This is the first step in Project Stinson STOL.
