This time, I left Moab, Utah, and headed east on the Rimrocker Trail—a 160-mile route of red rock, desert tracks, and mountain passes, ending in Montrose, Colorado. Over three days, I drove through canyons, snow-capped peaks, high desert grasslands, and quiet pine forests. I camped on cliff edges, cooked simple meals, shot targets in the open, and kept the truck rolling despite the endless dust. There’s no big story here. Just some wind, a lot of dirt, a few good meals, and the slow realization that imperfection is part of the journey.
