Have you ever wondered How a Toy Proton Pack from Ghostbusters Changed a Generation of children, Giving Children the Power to fight their nightmares and conquer their fears? In today's video, we take a look at how Ghostbusters put the POWER into the hands of Children. When I was a young boy back in 1984, I was terrified of the dark. I imagined all sorts of ghosts and monsters lurking around each and every dark corner of my bedroom when my parents turned off the lights after my bed time story. Who could blame me, I was only a child. Something as simple as a shadow on the wall or the light under the door to the hallway going off before I was asleep got my imagination racing! That all changed one day when I saw a TV commercial for the Ghostbuster's Power Pack. Here was a toy that was based on the movie prop from the original Ghostbusters movie and Ghostbusters cartoon in which the Ghostbusters were able to capture and trap ghosts, thus clearing a room and making it safe for children once again. The best part was that the commercial said that I could have a Ghostbuster's Power Pack that was made just for me! Once I saw that commercial, I realized that Ghostbusters put the POWER into the hands of Children at that moment, helping them conquer their nightmares and have a peaceful sleep after bedtime stories. I knew I had to ask my Mom and Dad for one of these great toys. I knew then and there that this Toy Proton Pack from Ghostbusters Changed a Generation of children who were afraid of the dark like me.
