Welcome to the ENJOY 30 Days of Face Yoga Series! This series is made for all faces, heads, ages, genders, souls & radiant beings on Youtube. Today is Day 10: HEART It is better in prayer to have a heart without words than words without a heart.- Mahatma Gandhi Today’s workout is about balancing the heart energy through our forehead & tongue. Through a Traditional Chinese Technology called Face Mapping - we can access the heart energy through these areas of our face. When your heart energy is balanced you are happy, you find beauty in the world, you feel fulfilled by life, you have meaningful relationships, you are always smiling, you know your worth and are not seeking validation from the outside world. You stand in your own frame. Physically Your forehead and the sides of your eyes are relaxed and do not have any wrinkles, your tongue is pinkesh/ red - soft and flexible and has sensitive taste buds, you are not retaining any liquids, your skin is glowing and vibrant and your blood circulation is excellent. When the heart energy is out of balance you experience things like depression, lack of purpose, an overly active nervous system, searching for approval in your surroundings, overly expressing your emotions or inability to express them in a helpful manor, superficial relationships, paranoia, the drama always follows you, you are very needy or clingy, short term memory problems, insomnia, anxiety, and restlessness. Physically you would see horizontal forehead wrinkles, downward turning wrinkles at the corner of the eyes(side note in TCM upward turning wrinkles mean you have more happy experiences in life - downward turning wrinkles mean you had more negative experiences) , discoloration or unresponsiveness of the tongue, skin reddening a rash or rosacea, broken capillaries, a leaky gut and or certain food intolerance, puffiness and water retention anywhere in the body, inflammation, high blood pressure, a sweaty forehead, and hot flashes. Today’s workout is focused on the forehead and tongue and has the following benefits: Release tension in your forehead - reduce horizontal forehead winkles Prevent future forehead wrinkles by training your eyes to move independent of your forehead and eyebrows lifting Strengthen your eye muscles (antagonist to the forehead) lift the eyelids and increase circulation around your eyes Strengthen your tongue Reduce and smooth out nasolabial folds and smile lines Acupressure to smooth forehead wrinkles, lift and brighten your eyes, reduce forehead pain, headaches, and eye strain and calm your mind Thank you so much for being here!
