The Fast and the Furious is one of the most successful franchises that didn’t start in the pages of a comic book. Instead it started in the streets of LA where a group of plucky street racers became a plucky international heist team who became an international...what is that they do now? Help spies with cars? It doesn’t matter, it contains some of the coolest cars in the world doing crazy things that cars can only do when they’re die cast and being played with in our childhood backyard, but their are errors in Fast and Furious movie. Despite the amount of crazy car action in exotic automobiles the series has always had its roots in the import tuner and JDM scene. Naturally, the series is more focused on being an action thriller and not a perfect portrait of the street racer scene, so they’re bound to make a few mistakes. From a Charger that stands too long on its hind tires to misidentified parts there are plenty of errors that make some gearheads roll their eyes. Some of the errors have entered the public consciousness, like referring to Nitrous injectors as “Naws”, but no MoTeC still doesn’t make exhausts.
