Hamel’s journal was very famous in Europe and at that time Eastern(Jeju island) was recognized as a mysterious and inherited island. We made an opera by putting a story based on the fact that Hamel drifted at Jeju island and the inspiration of the wagner opera in the main opera. We pray to perform Wagner opera, the flying Dutch, on Hamel merchant ship at Yongmeori Coast where Hamel landed We hope the Covid19 ends soon.
