Travel along with Neff Video and tour Western Pennsylvania railroad sites that take you from one millennium to another. You will witness a diverse selection that videographer Bob Sechler has captured for your enjoyment. Even one year after the breakup of Conrail, between CSX and Norfolk Southern, colorful foreign and leased motive power still abound, especially on CSX and were captured by Neff Video. Visit the changing season's of the Pennsylvania landscape as intermodal trains speed by the camera along Lake Erie and coal trains "grind up" the Allegheny Mountains. Experience heavy coal hauling on the NS (ex-MGA) Manor Branch, the newly renovated Cassandra Railfan Park, Southwest Pennsylvania newly leased Ohio Central GP10 in action, manifest and coal trains tackling Sand Patch grade and the old mainline between Pittsburgh and Altoona. A variety of covered locations include: Erie, Altoona, Connellsville , Pittsburgh, Banning, Wilmerding, Gallitizin, Cresson, Monongahela, Lake City, E. Conway, Harbor Creek, Dawson, NS Manor Branch, Munhall, Owensdale, and the Sand Patch Area (Mance, Philson, Glencoe, Hynman, Salisbury Jct.). We briefly step across the border into New York State to the towns of Ripley and Westfield. Observe the constant parade of road names belonging to CSX, NS, Ohio Central, BNSF, Santa Fe, W&LE, BN, UP, MRL, KCS, TM, WC, Grand Trunk, AC&W, Algoma Central, plus EMD, FURX, HLCX, and HTAX lease units. Big bruising units from EMD, including SD80 MACs, and the new CSX 70AC's all the way down to a GP10. CSX power includes CWA44AC's, CW60AC's, CW44-9s and C30-7's. Full color, sound, no narration, one hour and on-screen graphics.
