One of the great benefits of collecting old sports cards is the way it can suddenly make you feel like a kid again! If work is stressing you out, or your kids are fighting, it’s easy to open up a binder of 1970-71 O-Pee-Chee hockey cards and transport yourself back to a time when your biggest problem was finishing your road hockey game before dinner! Vintage sports cards really are like a time machine! If I such a thing existed, I’d go back to the early 50's, and take advantage of the opportunity to buy packs of cards from that era. While the 50's were filled some of the most valuable cards ever produced, there’s something about the early 70s, however, and the wonderful array of hockey, baseball, and football cards that came from a little gum company from London, Ontario!
