Delhi Metro's Golden Line: From Saket to Lajpat Nagar – Delhi’s Next Metro Revolution Begins Here!

Delhi Metro's Golden Line: From Saket to Lajpat Nagar – Delhi’s Next Metro Revolution Begins Here! Instagram :   / newway.journey   Today we are going to give you the update on Delhi Metro New upcoming Golden Line which is going to Connect Saket with lajpat Nagar Metro Station, we explore the upcoming Golden Line Branch of the Delhi Metro, which will connect Saket G Block to Lajpat Nagar through South Delhi’s key areas – Pushp Vihar, Saket Mall, Pushpa Bhawan, Chirag Delhi, GK-1, and Andrews Ganj. This 7.3 km elevated corridor is part of Delhi Metro Phase 4 and will feature India’s first 3-coach metro trains! We’ll drive along the entire proposed alignment, show you where stations are likely to come, and talk about how this project will improve connectivity, reduce traffic, and transform daily travel in South Delhi. The Golden Line (Line 10 & Line 11) is an under-construction rapid transit line of the Delhi Metro. It will connect southern Delhi directly with Indira Gandhi International Airport to relieve the increasing traffic, congestion and pollution on roads. It will start from Terminal 1-IGI Airport, which was previously planned from Delhi Aerocity, and end in Tughlakabad.[2] It will be 25.82 km (16.04 mi) long with 16 stations, out of which four will be elevated and 12 will be underground. Construction began on the line in June 2022, as part of the fourth phase of the Delhi Metro's development, and is expected to be completed by March 2026. Delhi is a city and a union territory of India. It is bordered by Haryana on three sides and by Uttar Pradesh to the east. The NCT covers an area of 1,484 sq km (573 sq mi). According to the 2011 census, Delhi city proper's population was over 11 million, the second-highest in India after Mumbai. Delhi's urban area is now considered to extend beyond the NCT boundary and include the neighbouring cities of Faridabad, Gurgaon, Noida and Ghaziabad in an area now called Central National Capital Region (CNCR) with an estimated 2016 population of over 26 million people, making it the world's second-largest urban area after Tokyo (Japan) according to United Nations. It is the second-wealthiest city after Mumbai in India, with a total wealth of $450 billion and home to 18 billionaires and 23,000 millionaires. Delhi has the highest per capita GDP in India with ₹3,29,000 (US$4,600) and total GDP stood at ₹6.86 lakh crore (US$96 billion). Delhi has been continuously inhabited since the 6th century BC. Through most of its history, Delhi has served as a capital of various kingdoms and empires. It has been captured, ransacked and rebuilt several times, particularly during the medieval period, and modern Delhi is a cluster of a number of cities spread across the metropolitan region.
