🎓 Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College & University Students (NSP) 🎓 The Ministry of Education, Government of India provides this scholarship to support meritorious students from economically weaker families and help them meet day-to-day expenses during higher studies. 🔹 Scope: Every year, up to 82,000 fresh scholarships are awarded based on Class XII Board Exam results for students pursuing Graduate/Postgraduate Degrees and Professional Courses (Medical, Engineering, etc.) in recognized colleges/universities. 🔹 Eligibility: ✔️ Above 80th percentile in Class XII (10+2) Board Exams ✔️ Pursuing regular degree courses (not distance/diploma) ✔️ Studying in AICTE/Regulatory Body recognized institutes ✔️ Family income ≤ ₹4.5 lakh per annum (Income Certificate for fresh applicants) ✔️ Not availing any other scholarship/fee waiver scheme ✔️ Must maintain ≥50% marks in exams & 75% attendance for renewal ✔️ Apply/renew only through NSP Portal (www.scholarships.gov.in) 🔹 Scholarship Amount (from FY 2022-23): ₹12,000 per year (Graduation – 1st to 3rd year) ₹20,000 per year (Post-Graduation & 4th–5th year of professional/integrated courses) For B.Tech/B.E. – ₹12,000 (1st–3rd year) & ₹20,000 (4th year) 🔹 Documents Required: Aadhaar Card (linked mobile no.)
