Raking up the Maharashtra-Karnataka border row yet again, Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on Wednesday demanded the disputed Marathi-speaking area be declared a Union Territory till the Supreme Court gives its final verdict. Speaking at a Marathi book-release event, Uddhav Thackeray said on Wednesday, “We don't have to stop just by publishing a book on the border dispute, now we have to win this case too. The matter is sub-judice and till it is resolved, I demand that these [Marathi-speaking] areas be declared a Union Territory.
