March warmup begins Sunday with highs in the 50s in the afternoon | WTOL 11 Weather

Dry weather is expected for northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan with cloud cover quickly fading away by early Sunday. Daylight Saving Time begins at 2 a.m. as we spring forward an hour. Sunrise will occur at 7:55 a.m. Sunday morning after the time change. The sky will be bright and beautiful with a chilly morning and milder afternoon. Temperatures will surge from the 30s to the 50s by the afternoon, kicking off a March warmup. With the milder temperatures will come an increasing breeze, and west winds will be sustained at 10-20 mph, gusting up to 25 mph. Sunday will feature an abundance of sunshine with high-pressure overhead. Sunset time will occur at 7:34 p.m. due to the time change.
