How I build my high pressure aeroponic cloning 5 gallon buckets. I got most of the basic supply's at Ace Hardware and wanted to make something that the products are easy to find. So... I bought a container used to store clothes, it was long and flat and this will collect the run off coming out of your buckets. Obviously three 5 gallon buckets, colored are better to keep light out and lids. You may need to order 2" netcups and neoprene/foam collars if you don't have a nearby hydro store. Buy a 1/8th drill and tap, use this to create a threaded hole in the base plastic container. This is where you will connect a 12 volt DC solenoid to a threaded 1/8th to 1/4 inch quick connect adapter. For the buckets do the same, drill and tap the base of the bucket and thread a mister through it. The mister connects to a female NPT to 1/4 inch OD quick connect adapter, when you place the buckets on top of the base container a 1/4 inch plastic tee with a stem will pinch the lid together with the base of the bucket. Drill a 1/2 inch hole into the base and insert a 1/2 inch grommet, push in a 1/2 inch elbow as your drain. Use some spit or a tiny bit of liquid soap if it's difficult, be sure to wash out the soap! Use a 2" hole saw to cut as many holes in the lid as you want, I use to use 3" but I found almost all manufacturers 2" net cups fit a 2" hole. The 3" you need a 2 7/8 hole saw. Oh drill a bunch of holes in the base lid to collect the run off. Inside the base I make a loop with 1/4 inch OD tubing starting and ending at the 12 volt DC solenoid. The solenoid is powered by a AC to DC transformer "I used a guitar pedal 9 volt transformer" I've been able to get solenoids to still work only using ~6 volts DC. This plugs into your "recycle timer" I like the cheap NEARPOW's sold on Amazon. Start with a 1-2 second on spray time with 3-4 minutes off in between sprays, as your roots grow space out the timing so by flowering your at or around 1 second on to 5 minutes off. I'm sure I left a bunch out of this and it may not make sense, that's because my videos aren't "How-To' but rather "How I" build them. I'm not an expert, just a generalist... Have fun!
