Joshua is a BieChi. His mother is one of my Black Biewer Terriers and Dad is my smooth Coat Brindle Parti Chihuahua. Joshua is chocolate Parti, this means that he is mainly white with coloured patches, he may develop chocolate spotting in his white coat as he grows. This pairing was not an "accidental mating", I have been breeding Biechis for a little while now. The mix produces a more robust pup, who are nice and strong and sturdy, whilst maintaining the fabulous characteristics of the Biewer breed, and the strength and personality of the chihuahua breed, and most of all, they are not a delicate little flower during the first few weeks following birth. They are still a very petite breed, both parents are only 2.5kg, but they have huge personalities. Bringing the exceptional sociability of the Biewer into the mix creates a well rounded, happy go lucky, friendly, sociable little dog who is also very affectionate and loving with an energetic, playful (mischievous) side to their personality. In terms of what the pups look like, the majority of Biechi's that I have bred, have mainly turned out to have mainly the Biewer genetics, so their coats are single, grow throughout their life rather than moult/cast, and therefore, do require regular grooming and clipping at the groomers. Their faces are rounder and their muzzles are short. Sometimes their ears are floppy down and sometimes they are erect. Other pups in the litter can be more like the Chihuahua, both in terms of looks and coat, i have had one or two of these in my litters, and the remaining pups can be a combination of both, whereby they have a coat which grows, like the Biewer, but also have an undercoat and their shape and facial features are literally in between the two breeds. They can produce a variety of colours. I have had mainly the Biewer markings (white with black patches and tan points) but I have also had some stunning chocolate pups, and brindle, and black and tan. They are very intelligent and confident pups. And they do stay very small, with both parents only being 2.5kg. The Biechis is just a fabulous, happy, sociable, friendly breed whoa re tiny, with huge personalities and love to be alive and loved. Jan SedgysMiniMe.co.uk
