Why SSoT is important for infrastructure operation and how to make it

We've developed an information management system (AirOne [*1]) that makes efficient and effective infrastructure operations. The basic concept is the same with SSoT (Single South of Truth), which is based on some system management tools, like Robotron of Facebook/Meta and MALT of Google. The biggest question for the people who want SSoT is how to make it. There are a large variety of services to manage information (a.k.a DCIM, IPAM). But you might not achieve it, just by using them. Actually, we used a famous DCIM to manage our data center's information. But it was increased and its structure was complex and redundant because of complex user requirements. As a result, it grew up something that is siloed and intertwined. Nobody knows the whole perspective and partially extracted information is true. This track shows you how we solve this and what AirOne is. We've discussed this issue in the Japanese regional NOG (c.f. JANOG45[*2], JANOG50[*3]). I want to get reactions from global users.
