We left the best for last and in early October we arrived to Cape Breton Island's Cheticamp and experienced the fall around the Cabot Trail and especially the Highland's National Park. We hiked the famous Skyline Trail very early in a sunny and beautiful morning. In the North East corner of the Cabot Trail, we visited the Black Brook Cave Beach and in the picturesque Neil's Harbor. In the South area of Cabot Trail, we visited the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site and Baddeck waterfront. For snack, we went to Tim Hortons, the first and only in this trip. In the Eastern side we hiked the Farney Mountain Trail and had an early dinner at the Keltic Lodge. The last full day in the area was devoted to Cheticamp where we spent the morning in the Cheticamp Island getting some drone shots and in the afternoon we visited the Hooked Rugs Homelife museum. Hooked Rugs is a classic Acadian tradition which have a strong presence in this area. We also visited the Lola's gift shop where we observed a Hooked Rug "in the making". The final segment of this vlog is dedicated to the fall colors - a highlight we experienced throughout Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
