Wire nail branding iron - Pricklysauce Mini branding iron made from a wire nail, easy to make and great to use. Uses a wire nail something about 125mm with a nice sized flat head. Hammer the nail into the end of a piece of wood...this will become the handle. Cut out a design from sticky backed vinyl and stick on the end of the nail. Check out my Metal etching video    • Metal Etching - How to   Etch your design onto the nail head...remove the vinyl and black gunk. Use files or a rotary tool to grind away the excess metal to allow the branding to give the best results. Cut the piece of wood to length and form a comfortable handle. Heat up the end of your wire nail branding iron and brand your, great results are easy to achieve.
