In this historic lecture, renowned primatologist Dian Fossey discusses her long-term study of the behavior and ecology of the mountain gorilla in the Virunga Mountains of central Africa. She describes her observations of various aspects of gorilla life, including their feeding habits, nesting behavior, social interactions, and parental care. Fossey also discusses the threats facing the mountain gorilla, such as habitat destruction and poaching, and the conservation efforts to protect this endangered species.
