The Suffering (2004) was a scary video game that I believe does not get the love it deserves. Whenever you see a list of the scariest games of all time, The Suffering, developed by Surreal Games and published by Midway Games, is never on those lists. Here is why it is one of the best horror games of all time and why it should be remade into a new horror classic. Also this game had a documentary of haunted Eastern State Penitentiary in it! How crazy was that? Thank you to all the people I was able to get footage from and from my parents that allowed me to buy this game at 10 years old.
