This patient flew all the way from across the pond for an explant after experiencing recurrent breast pain and redness from her implants. With a history of four prior breast surgeries and recurrent capsular contracture, she came to us for a solution that would finally resolve her symptoms and give her relief. What makes this case particularly interesting? We removed B-Lite breast implants, which are 30% lighter than traditional breast implants. These implants, made with a silicone shell and filled with silicone gel and hollow microspheres, were designed to provide larger volumes without feeling as heavy.
