The Henry Ford Radiation Oncology Residency Program is a close-knit, trainee-focused program dedicated to the development of our residents into compassionate physicians who provide exceptional, well-rounded care to all of our patients. Residents train at the Henry Ford Cancer Institute (HFCI) - a multidisciplinary program committed to prevention, early detection, treatment and research for cancer care. Located at Henry Ford Hospital, the HFCI is one of the largest cancer centers in Michigan. With strong support from department leadership and faculty, this program has fostered an environment optimal for learning and growth. Serving the metro Detroit area, the HFCI sees a wide variety of pathology, and just as diverse a patient population. This environment is exceptional for learning and provides a breadth of experience for our residents. The residency program is designed to provide a well-rounded education in clinical oncology, and to offer our residents participation in a variety of state-of-the-art clinical and basic science research programs.
