Yes definitely yes. Human Papilloma Virus which is sexually transmitted causes 99% of cervical cancer, that is why we say if we do a hygienic or a HPV vaccine, it can prevent cervical cancer. So that is why we say that in a lady, in a young girl about the age of 12, before they have their marriage or first sexual intercourse then they can prevent majority of the cervical cancer can be prevented. It also causes oral cancer, tongue cancer. There are some specific variety of viruses that causes lymphomas. So viruses can cause cancer. Radiation, yes, lymphoma radiation can cause thyroid cancer and couple of them. There are some cancers which can be cause but it is not like day to day x-ray, CT scan, mammogram. No ,not that type of radiation. It is a different type of radiation. That is why sun burn is a radiation injury which causes skin cancers.
