Hello everyone, welcome back to **Sawdust & Circuits**. In today’s video, I take a *$20 US General mini toolbox from Harbor Freight* and turn it into a **fully organized storage solution for my Nomad 3 desktop CNC**. Out of the box, this toolbox is small and clearly designed for general hand tools — but with a little cleanup and some **custom 3D-printed drawer inserts**, it becomes a compact, purpose-built CNC organizer. The inserts hold clamping hardware, collet adapters, and up to **66 standard 1/8" bits**, plus room for common box bits. I’ll walk through: First impressions of the Harbor Freight mini toolbox Removing logos and drawers Designing and installing 3D-printed inserts How I organized all my CNC tooling in a small footprint Why visibility and “knowing what’s missing” matters in a shop setup This is a great example of using **cheap tools creatively**, especially if you’re working with limited bench space or desktop machines. Let me know in the comments — 👉 Was this a good use of a small toolbox? 👉 What would you use one of these for? Thanks for watching, and I’ll see you next time.
