Sony Sonnar T* FE 55mm f/1.8 ZA Lens 4K Video Test (Shot it on A7SII in Santa Monica) 50mm is always must have focal length. It’s very close to the focal length of a human eye. A lot of people thinks same focal length with your eyes will tell better story. You see what I see. I was lucky enough to test this lens while I was on holiday in LA. So I did the whole shoot at Santa Monica. This Sony Zeiss 55mm f/1.8 is a great travel lens. Super compact. Nice clean design. It weights only 281g. It’s great for street photography. I do own two myself already. The Canon 50mm f/1.2 USM and the Zeiss Loxia 50mm f/2.0. But I’m not a huge fan of the 50mm personally. I much preferred the 35mm or even wider. But doesn’t mean 50mm is not good. But just a bit too tight for me. Thanks for watching this video test review!!
