Using LIVE SHAD Catfishing on the Kansas River Spring 2024

In this video I go cast netting / castnet and catch 8"-12" Gizzard Shad for Live Catfish Bait for Fishing on the Kansas River. I was able to get them home where I put them in my Bait Tank. With Shad being one of the hardest Catfish Baits to keep alive, I only get several opportunities to use Live Shad as Catfishing bait on the river each season. I go to a spot to catfish on the Kansas River in Bonner Springs and end up not having the best night ever, but I was able to catch a Blue Catfish that was full of eggs with a huge belly. All in all the time spent in nature is always worth it even when the fish aren't biting like you want.
