I’m a Malaysian who’s always been curious about one very specific Indonesian dish: Internet Noodles. Not the viral TikTok ramen hacks or chili oil trends… I mean the real acronym-based dish Indonesians have been quietly enjoying for years. IN–domie TE–lur (egg) Ko–RNET (corned beef) Put them together and you get one of Indonesia’s most iconic comfort foods: Internet Noodles. Even though Malaysia and Indonesia are next-door neighbors, it’s surprisingly hard to find Indomie Telur Kornet being sold anywhere here. I see more Indonesians in Malaysia than actual iconic Indonesian dishes. Mie ayam? Batagor? Mie nyemek? Internet noodles? Practically impossible to find. So I decided to make it myself. In this video, I try both popular versions of Internet Noodles: • The classic version where everything is cooked separately • The one-pan version where Indomie, egg, and corned beef are all cooked together Which version wins? Watch and find out. If you enjoyed this video, subscribe to Will It Noodle for more noodle experiments, food culture deep-dives, and culinary chaos from Malaysia. #indomie #instantnoodles
