#manitoba #riverfishing #goldeye #saskatchewan Yes, for the third video in a row I am soaking baits in the Saskatchewan River. This is downstream of the fork where the North Saskatchewan and the South Saskatchewan Rivers meet. I fished the North Saskatchewan on the Monday, South Saskatchewan on Tuesday and after leaving Saskatoon back to Manitoba I am fishing the Saskatchewan River. Unlike the other two locations upstream, and 500 km to the west, I have fished this section of the river many times. I actually walk to this spot from my wife's parents house. It's peaceful and quiet and the fish bite, this is my favorite type of location! In the past I have caught different species of fish here, this day was different. I was reeling in fish but they were all the same species. One of them however, was a new PB goldeye. A fat 17" fish, good size considering they average 12-14".
