Rangers it seemed were cruising and would soon hold 15 point lead at the top of the table. The press, the so called experts had the title won, Celtic were in disarray it seemed and didn't have any chance of coming back Neil Lennon and Celtic had other ideas. From the moment Stokes buried that free-kick to make it 3-1, Celtic were possessed! They would stop at nothing towards the top of the table. Picking up over 15 consectutive wins in the league, goals galore, commanding performances from a team everyone had written off previously. No one could compete. Rangers were swept aside on the pitch while off it they imploded as their history came back to haunt them. It meant little on the pitch, Celtic had already overturned their 15 point lead by the New Year when deadly Joe Ledley struck the winner in the 2nd Old Firm. Not even a defeat in the 3rd one when we nearly fought back with 9 men could derail the Hoops. They secured the title in fashion on the 4th April at Rugby Park, where everything started to turn around.
